The Institute

M.Sc. International Energy Economics and Business Administration

In 2007 the International Institute for Energy Policy and Energy Economics was founded to promote and foster reseach and education in the field of national and international energy policy and energy economics with a focus on the academic and practical education of the scientific offspring.

In cooperation with the University of Leipzig and the International Energy Policy and Diplomacy Institute (MGIMO University) the master programme International Energy Economics and Business Administration (M.Sc.) was offered. Since the start of the Russian war against the Ukraine the cooperation with Russia had to be stopped and the master programme was started to redesign.

The institute is registered in the registry of associations and recognised as a nonprofit association.

The Institute for Energy Policy and Energy Economics has appointed an advisory board of high-ranking personalities from the German energy industry to advise the institute and support MEEBA. Among others, the following members are represented on the advisory board (in alphabetical order):
